On-call two weeks before the due date and two weeks after

Laboring physically with you at your home, birth center or hospital
Photos of birth and newborn, if desired
Two postpartum visits
Wellness check on you, baby & family
Feeding & babywearing support

Preparing simple meals/snacks & assist with light housekeeping, depending on needs of family

SIBLING DOULA

Two relationship visits​
Two (2) optional one hour prenatal visits with you and your child, for play and relationship building as preparation for your birth
At least one at the location where the care will take place
Sibling care for home, birth center, or hospital birth
On-call two weeks before the due date and two weeks after
Overnight sibling care for a minimum of 2 full days and not to exceed 5 days
Emotional support and nurturing for the sibling(s)
Bringing sibling(s) to birthing facility to meet new baby
Light housekeeping (i.e., light laundry and folding, tidying up)
One postpartum visit
To reflect, connect, and provide closure
You can choose home or virtual visit.

BIRTHING EXPERIENCE
Professionally, I have attended home births, hospital births with & without medical interventions, and cesarean births. I believe all birth experiences deserve non-judgmental support, care & compassion.
​
Personally, I have had two successful births in the hospital: one with pitocin & epidural at Good Samaritan Hospital and one with no medical interventions at Kaiser Permanente-San Jose.
POSTPARTUM EXPERIENCE
Professionally, I have provided overnight support (night nanny), babywearing training, light housework & home organization, sibling child care, breastfeeding support, family/partner coaching & newborn care (diapering, bathing & feeding).
Additionally, I have provided bereavement support to those who have experienced pregnancy loss and infant loss.
Personally, I experienced postpartum depression with my second child more than a year after the birth. I understand the critical importance of emotional & physical support for the postpartum individual.
